Members of the Amateur Football Combination Founded: 1948
The club was founded for ex-pupils of Glyn Grammar School, but since the mid 90’s has been open to all comers. Established for over 50 years, the club runs six teams, at present, who all play in the Amateur Football Combination League. All sides also play in the London Old Boys Invitation Cup (OBI), the London Old Boys Cup (LOB) and the extensive Amateur Football Alliance Cup (AFA). The 1st XI play at the senior level of the league, which is London wide, while the remaining sides play at the intermediate and lower levels, which are played regionally in the southern section of the league. The Club also fields a Veterans' (Over-35) team, playing friendly matches on Sunday mornings. To check on the standards and details of all the competitions etc. please refer to the league website which can be found at:
Club Directions and Travel:
We are always interested in recruiting new players of a good standard, preferably aged 16 or over to what we feel is a great club, with not only excellent facilities, but a selection of teams through a range of senior amateur down to pure social football along with a first class clubhouse that buzzes every Saturday afternoon.
Alternatively why not just pop down to Cheam Sports Club and see for yourself.
